From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman is a fantasy anime that premiered on April 5, 2025, on TV Asahi's IMAnimation block and became available globally on Amazon Prime Video on April 6, 2025. Produced by Passione and Hayabusa Film, the series adapts Shigeru Sagazaki's light novel. It follows Beryl Gardinant, a modest sword instructor from a rural village, who is unexpectedly summoned to the capital to train elite knights, including his now-renowned former students. The anime features direction by Akio Kazumi, scripts by Kunihiko Okada, and music by Yasuharu Takanashi. The opening theme, "HEROES," is performed by Takanori Nishikawa, and the ending theme, "Alright!!!," is by FLOW.
